Describe who/what this design is about

This logo is for a soybean oil brand Almasi. We would like for the logo to be simple, similar to 365 Whole Food Market Canola Oil logo and the likes. But we also would like that despite a simple design, the logo capture's consumers' attention. The logo will eventually be added onto packaging of the soybean oil.

Almasi means diamond in swahili. It is not obliged to incorporate this in the design but we thought it is worth mentioning so designers know the meaning of the brand. We want to emphasize that despite looking for a simple design we still want something that is captivating and nice on the eyes.
