Describe who/what this design is about

We are a small startup with fire and protection experience getting into the Federal Contracting space. We would like a logo that is professional/Federally respected but can also stay on the cutting edge of design (My partner and I are in our early 40's). We don't like anything about our current logo or website. Our new logo will set the theme for our company image, website and marketing materials. Our website is https://fireandlifesafety.net. It was quickly put together to be able to launch the company, however, we are now ready to invest time and effort into our image.

Thank you all for your hard work these look great! We will solely be servicing the Federal Government. We would like to see some logos with a US Government feel. United States Flag, Military Branch Logos, US Capital Building, Washington Monument, Presidential Seal, Eagle, and Crest are all examples.
