Describe who/what this design is about

I run a lumber and building supply company. Brown Lumber and Building Supply. We are about to open a new component/manufacturing plant where we pre-assemble roof and floor trusses for the building industry. I am trying to develop a new logo that also ties into our current logo to use for signage and promotional materials etc.
